People cannot transport in and out of my parlour. I know Bassarov OKed the move for Kassenia, but I still don't like it. In the future, I would prefer if people do not transport in and out of the parlour.

hmm a complaint board... i would have a hell of a time with this.... but i rather my own way.... the direct approach, its not like any of the mods or admins do a thing about them anyway

Oh yes, because telling other players to "f'uck off" is really effective.
On most other RPGs you would have been banned for doing something like that.

Oy. If only I could complain about the fight brewing in the 'complaint' thread. lol And John, we moderators do intervene when we can and do our best to resolve the situation.

This thread was created so players with a specific complaint against powergaming or whatever who are unable to reach a moderator for whatever reason.
And John, I thought you were a mod... If you are you should put a post in the Moderator Role-Call.

Since people seem to be checking this thread, I will make a request.
Please do not post to each other in the joining forms. This site is already severely overtaxed, and will soon exceed its allotted bandwith. We are attempting to preserve it for as long as possible, and that means we should try to keep much of our conversations to PMs or IMs.

I've got a complaint! Peter yelled at me for no reason in Zalgar's dojo. I was making sure that Zalgar wasn't just some random raving n00b who had no authority over the website and I wanted to be sure that it was ok'd by Bassarov. Peter told me to stop complaining and get out. So now I'm complaining about you, Peter. That was rude. I made d**n sure that I didn't complain. You shouldn't have included me in your repremand.

Bandwidth is the amount of data passing through the system. It is increased when there are more people because more people view more data. Increasing the amount of data logged to this board, IE posts and threads, increases the badwidth load.
Sorry Matsu, must have misread your post. I thought you were complaining. My apologies.

I have an wonderful suggestion to the whole overloaded problem!
Why dont ya just delete the threads that are in joining forms. I mean I read through those pages and I see a lotta them that are from dead/unused/forgotten characters. I know I deleted some of my chari but there joining forms are still there.

I say you have a character role-call. Delete the joining threads of all characters who do not respond. I know I don't want my character's joining threads deleted, cuz that's where I keep track of their powers.

I dont know if deleting all the unused character profiles would be such a good idea. I know that I used to dissapear from this site for over a month at a time, but come back. I would be very unhappy if I came back one time and found all my character info lost. The real thing that sucks up bandwidth is the 40,000 sum odd posts in the old Main Quest thread. I know Bassarov does not want to get rid of it if possible, but that is what is truely causing the problems.

Agreed. Removal of the original Main Quest should help.
