omg people, stop complaining about the fate of the board. Everything is going just fine. Bassarov said he's going to keep it up as long as he can. School has started, so of course it's going to be a little bit slower, but it's not that bad. I actually like it that way cuz I'm not overloaded with catching up when I get home. I have a feeling the board is going to be just fine. So play and have fun. There's nothing you can do about the future, so you might as well not worry about it. Worse come to worse and we do need to make another board, that's really easy. Proboards is just about the most simple message board creator to use. So end the riot, please.

To set the record straight this whole semi-panic about the site dying started when I made a couple incorrect observations after ProBoards had randomly deleted threads. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SITE OVERLOAD! Consider: Your average 20-page thread takes up AT THE MOST 25-50 kb of hard drive space. Hard drives run less than a dollar a gigabyte these days, therefore unlimited posts is NOT a big deal. The problem is with people making nonsense posts and cluttering up the boards, which makes moderation more difficult. So quit worrying about the site dying suddenly, if ProBoards can afford 23+ web domains and servers then there is no concern about the site dying from being overloaded.

I have somewhat of a complain I guess, though it does not effect me directly. More that I wish to direct the attention of one of the moderators to someone. The person who plays John, and Riku I believe, has as John been doing nothing but sex posts for the last 30 or so posts. I know this because I noticed a trend, and looked back on some of his old posts. Is not someone supposed to be limiting the amount of sex characters have?

Riddle us this batman...When one is not on all of the time one can not moderate every love scene. Correct? We know Peter sir is busy. He has, as we all do, a life outside of the rpg. We know that every character that is in all lowercase and is rushed together is this John person.
To me it seems fruitless to have a mod of romance in general. There is no romance. It seems like just a bunch of people shacking up to me. SOme try to have some romance but do not confuse sex and romance together.
Oh and when 6 characters are having sex or trying to have sex. And no matter what Peter sir would say his warning may not be headed. I have noticed a trend as well. This John person does not take critisism or direction well. Whenever another moderator tries to talk to him about something it turns into an OOC war. Perhaps that is why. I just skip over the blacked out posts and let them have their fun. But in agreeance with Devin. It does seem to be an aweful lot of blacked out posts with this particular guy. But hey, its not like my character will be having sex anytime soon so who am I to talk right?

Your right. Sex needs its own place or it should be limited. No one wants to sort through pages of black post. Even modding it so you do the act and its short like Ivan does is better.

If they cannot be removed from this RPG completely, they should at least be very short, and lack description. If people have nothing to do but have sex, people will know it, because every 4 posts or so they will be having sex again. That is a sure fire indication that something needs to be done to get that character more involved in the plot in my opinon.
